Old Bridge Dentist Helping Others

Born and raised in New York, Dr. DiCarlo originally thought he would become a pediatrician but after shadowing his dentist, he decided dentistry was the right path for him. “The rest is history!”

The most fulfilling part of being a dentist is helping people every day. I love seeing them leave the office happy.

Gaining a Wealth of Knowledge

Dr. DiCarlo enjoyed the rigorous education at New York University College of Dentistry, graduating in 2012. While at NYU, Dr. DiCarlo met some great people and gained a wealth of clinical experience. “New York is the busiest city in the world. Patients were always available to the dental students.”

After gaining this valuable expertise, Dr. DiCarlo stayed on to learn about the placement of dental implants. His residency was completed at Staten Island University Hospital. Dr. DiCarlo was selected as chief resident in his second year for his exceptional clinical and leadership skills. During his time as chief, he had the opportunity to train in treatment planning, placement and restoration of advanced implant cases.

Staying Informed about Dentistry

Old Bridge Dentist, Dr. DiCarlo regularly takes a variety of continuing education classes to stay up-to-date on the latest research in dentistry. He continues to study implant dentistry. Dr. DiCarlo also has a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry, such as veneers and full mouth reconstructions.

He is on staff at Staten Island University Hospital where he likes to give back by teaching the residents. Dr. DiCarlo is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Richmond County Dental Society.
